Why Use ARS?

Because, you are an athlete and you think that you might be recruitable. Maybe it's to a NCAA DI school, maybe it's a DII. Either way, with our service, you will find your college recruitment options and be able to decide where your best fit opportunity is. We provide the formatting, the resources, and the reporting to get your best results. No one else does it more affordably, more thoroughly, or more safely.

Is sign-up really free?

Yes. After creating your account, you can build your profile without charge.

Will using Athlete Recruiting Services jeapordize my eligibility?

No. The same can not be said for other services. See NCAA Rules/Bylaws  12.3.1, and 12.3.3

Is my information safe?

You control your account. Your information is only sent to regions and division that you have chosen and is never sold to 3rd parties. With secure password protected login, no one posing as a coach can access your account.

Can I update my profile?

Until the campaign is sent out you can edit the profile as needed by logging in to your account. If you experience difficulty, try using the "start a new email now" option after logging back in.

How do I title my campaign email?

While the email title can be anything that you want it to be, we suggest graduation year, position played and single highlight be included. Remember to keep the title short and concise. A sample title would be; "2011 Defensive End 4.0 GPA 15 Sack Season"

What if I don't get results?

You may have applied outside of you ability level.  Be realistic about your demonstrated current ability. Could your academics have been a limiting factor? Consider the quantity of programs that were within your choosen division and region. (As an example, Colorado has few NCAA DIII schools and even fewer rowing programs.) Given the number of influencing factors, there are no Athlete Recruiting Services refunds.

What about video?

Your ARS profile can link to your video. For free video editing software there are many choices including Microsoft Movie Maker, Apple iMovie, and Wax.

What if I don't have a video?

The more information that you can provide a coach for evaluation, the better. Keep in mind that the Athlete Recruiting Services profile was developed to provide collegiate coaches with the specific type of information that they like to have when considering recruits. Your campaign will not be sent out until you are ready to send it so if you need to come back and edit or add information, you can do this anytime before sending. If you simply don't have a video, that is ok. Any lines left blank on your information form will be excluded from your profile.

Don't coaches change?

Athlete Recruiting Services utilizes and updates the most accurate data base of coaches that we can. That said, there are occasions, mid year resignations or maternity leave for example, that will result in inaccuracies. While this is infrequent, Athlete Recruiting Services can not be held responsible.

What if I play multiple sports?

Your profile has a place to list other sports played. To get the best results, you need a focused effort that highlights the sport that you are most committed to, most enjoy, and physically best at. Through Athlete Recruiting Services you are requesting to be considered as a recruitable contributor to a competitive collegiate program. If you and your coaches feel that you are that good at more than one sport, than you should purchase a second campaign for that sport as well.

How do I get recruited?

Start by signing up and filling out your student athlete profile. Do your research. Put some real thought into where you would like to apply. Consider the type of program, school, academics, support, locality, etc... . Send your profile directly to college coaches. Make sure that you stay up to date with the latest association and school requirements. Manage the recruitment process. Enjoy the moment.

How do I close my account after I commit to a college?

Your account will not immediately be closed following your send out so that athletes not yet in their senior year or that may be attending a Junior College have a chance to remain as ongoing clients without having to start from scratch each time. If you have committed to a 4 year program and would like to have your account closed, notify us at info@athleterecruitingservices.com and we will close your account.
